As the menu says: “It’s always 5 o’clock somewhere” and this mainstay is the perfect spot to segue into any evening. Surrounded by old black and white photographs, take a perch on the button-back bar stools and let the smartly dressed bartenders whip you up something quaffable. While the classics are given loving attention – see the Camparino Shakerato with orange flower water, or the filthy gin martini – the signature apertifs steal the show in the form of a Tangled NY Sour with hazelnut and Rock ‘n’ Rye, a take on an Old Fashioned with candy syrup. A solid Italian wine list rounds things off.
