Transplanted from its old home to a new spot within the Octo Seafood Bar restaurant complex, brilliantly named Sugar Ray has swapped its shabby chic vibes for a sleeker, minimalist look without sacrificing any of its laid-back charm. The warmly lit bar takes pride of place and, while there are tables, the counter is the best place to sit to watch the brilliant bartenders at work. Asian-led signature cocktails include ‘Elixir’ (ginseng-infused gin, bianco vermouth, absinthe, Cointreau and lemon) and ‘Born & Raise’ (tea-infused gin, house-made pandan syrup, mandarin orange and lime).
