An homage to classic Italian architecture, the restaurant’s interiors feature two-toned columns and walls layered with art inspired by the landscapes of Italy: ports and palaces, lakes, country villas and Roman ruins. Accolades aplenty: Conceived under the direction of Italian culinary master Antonio Guida of Michelin-starred Seta at Mandarin Oriental, Milan, Talea is overseen day to day by talented young chef Luigi Stinga.
Family style: Talea’s menu draws on Guida’s distinctive culinary style to create ‘Cucina di Famiglia’, or family-style cooking. The menu includes handmade duck ravioli, seared octopus and and agrumi – a combination of fresh citrus, lemon sorbet and white chocolate.
Dinner and a show: Those who like to watch chefs in action are in for a treat. At the heart of the elegant dining room is a vibrant open kitchen. Alternatively, order the signature tiramisu desert, which is prepared and served tableside.
