Riserva Carlo Alberto - the iconic Vermouth of Compagnia dei Caraibi, born in Turin in 1837 - is a product of excellence, created with rare ingredients and ancient techniques.
Initially used as a medicinal drink due to its strong herbaceous components, the recipe was perfected after gaining popularity among the nobility and Turin cafes. Today it includes 27 botanicals and two excellent Piedmonts grapes, Erbaluce di Caluso and Moscato d'Asti, which qualify Riserva Carlo Alberto as Vermouth di Torino Superiore.
As an icon of international hospitality, recognized by the Best Boutique Hotel award from the 50 Best Hotels, Carlo Alberto embodies a blend of style, sophistication, and tradition, paired with the enthusiasm and freshness of the aperitif moment. A cult favorite, it transcends conventions to delight both the soul and palate on every occasion.
The bottle of Riserva Carlo Alberto pays tribute to the architecture of Turin with its columns and arches, reminiscent of Palazzo Madama and Gran Madre. The design of the bottle emphasises the connection with the city where the tradition of Vermuttino (vermouth and selz), the ancestor of the aperitif, originated.
At the World Vermouth Awards 2020, Riserva Carlo Alberto White won the Gold Medal and Riserva Carlo Alberto Extra Dry won the Silver Medal.
In addition to the Riserva range (White, Red, Extra Dry), there are two references designed for bartenders and mixology: Carlo Alberto White and Red, both available in 1L bottles, created to interpret all types of cocktails, giving the unique structure and character of this Vermouth.
